Went for a Hollywood Wax treatment and my beautician was quick and painless as possible. A few stray hairs were left but no biggy, I just tweezered them off at home. Overall, it was very good value for money.
Went for a Hollywood wax and left swollen and nearly bleeding. The therapist was moody and unfriendly. She handled a sensitive area in a rough manner. On top of that a person nearly entered the room during the session because the door wasn't locked. The therapist was very rapid (done in less than 20mins) but perhaps a bit too in a rush to finish. Overall, the problem is the rough manner in which the wax is done and the uncomfortable atmosphere. Unless the staff becomes friendlier and handle sensitive areas in a more gentle way I wouldn't go back.
I used to go to posh places with ambient lighting and cool music, where chatty beauticians take more than half an hour to do £40+ Brazillian.
In this place, it took 15 minutes flat and cost £15. The job was really well done and I swear it was not as painful as in some of the boutique places.
Yes, the decor is rather plain and the therapists might not be the chattiest people in the world, but the over all value is outstanding!
