The wax was ok, though the beautician was very rough and I was actually bleeding a little at the end which has never happened to me during a wax before. Also when the beautician rubbed the aloe in at the end she was a bit too thorough, which made me feel super uncomfortable, I was just about to ask her to stop when she must have realised she'd been rubbing a bit too long (just to be clear I think she was just day dreaming or not paying attention, not being purposefully creepy!). At the end the receptionist gave me a really hard sell, trying to get me to sign up to a 50% off wax on my next visit - a really good offer, but I feel I was press-ganged into it, and it was only after I got home and had noticed the blood I decided that I wouldn't be going back, despite having paid for my next visit up front!
That was quick, hassle free experience. The girl who did the waxing was quick and friendly. It's not your luxury kind of spa but for the money you pay definitely worthy. And it's very central - which is really convenient. I'll be going there again.
