Really cheap for a Hollywood in central London. Could have been a bit better at waxing as was very slowly done which was quite painful. Were running quite late with appointments so had to wait a little while but this wasn't an issue for me as wasn't in a rush. The wax was a bit too hot and burnt me a bit and I spoke up about this and the beautician just blew on the area which was a bit bizarre but other than that a great wax.
I've never written a review online about anything, but my experience here was so good, I felt as though I should!!
I used to have Hollywood waxing done fairly regularly a couple of years ago, but gave up as it was really irritating my skin (blood blisters, spots, ingrown hairs) and the hair used to start growing back within days!! Definitely not worth all that money! I've tried various salons in the past, and have tried both strip and hot wax and have always had the same disappointing results.
My experience was completely different at this salon however - it was literally the best wax I've ever had. The pain (although very much there) was noticeably less than before, and the skin wasn't left broken or bleeding in places like it used to. I could also feel that most of the hair had actually been pulled out, rather than broken off at the surface, which has always been a major issue in the past.
I'd definitely recommend this place. If you've had negative previous experiences like me, and have extremely sensitive skin with super strength hair roots, I'd give this salon a go for sure!
Excellent! Popped in for a lunchtime wax and it was done super fast! Relatively painless (as waxing goes!) I'm normally very wary of waxing but I didn't regret this one at all! Found my new waxing place!
