This is my second visit to Singhar. On my first, I walked in and was terrified! It’s on Oxford Street and certainly wasn’t the relaxing spa setting I had expected. The decor is bold and the posters old, the staff are efficient but will chat amongst themselves and not fuss over you. Both times I’ve arrived and waited awkwardly at reception before being addressed a couple of minutes later. And guess what? I don’t care!
Singhar is one of the best beauty parlours I have ever visited. The staff aren’t fake and trying to suck up to you to sell you extras. If they are friendly, you know it’s sincere. I’ve had three beauticians for the six treatments I’ve had there, and all three have been great. The beautician who did my bikini wax was so speedy I could not believe it- least painful wax I’ve ever had!
I should also mention how reasonably priced this place is. I got an eyebrow tint, eyebrow wax and hot deep bikini wax for £34! If you buy there package deal, it works out at under £30, which I’m definitely going to do.
Don’t go here expecting to be pampered. Go expecting a cheap and efficient service from highly trained staff who are genuine, and who’s main priority is whatever part of you they are beautifying - not what you’re doing at the weekend/where you’re going on holiday. The salon is spotless and the treatment rooms couldn’t be cleaner and more welcoming. Don’t let the dated decor in the main salon cloud your judgement.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I won’t be setting foot in a pretentious, over-priced salon again. Singhar is now the only place I’ll go and I can’t wait to try some more treatments there!

I booked my treatment last minute and still got a spot that I wanted. When I got there 10mins before my time, I haven't even settled into my chair when I was already asked to follow one of the ladies. Wow! I was maybe done in 15mins (I didn't really time it but it felt quick) and I really like how afterwards, she even asked me to check whether I was satisfied or was there anything she missed. One really satisfied customer here! :)
