My masseuse was 20 minutes late to start with. I felt very uncomfortable that she lingered in the room while I got undressed and dressed. I didn't feel comfortable during the massage either, it was creepy to say the least!
Deep Tissue Massage
I booked a deep tissue massage. The therapist was 15 minutes late, although I wasn't too worried as it was a last-min booking and I was glad they could fit me in at all. I was lead to the treatment room past a row of pedicure chairs; there was a big pile of skin shavings from someone's feet on the floor that I had to step through! Ugh! Maybe sweep that up or put a towel down or something, folks? The massage itself was decent enough, but then 20 or so minutes into my half-hour appointment the therapist left the room. She came back with a hot damp towel which she laid on my back. I was laying face down but I could hear her mobile phone buzz, and the sounds of her taking it out of her pocket and texting. She tapped away on the keys for five minutes, not touching me, while the towel got colder and colder, before taking it off and leaving me wet - and that was that. I wouldn't go again I'm afraid.
I have been few times for hollywood waxing and I really recommend everyone. It is quick and clean. The beauticians are very nice and welcoming.

I would recommend the hot wax over the strip wax, but otherwise the experience was good.

I had a pedicure - she did a great job of sorting out my feet and also gave me a five minute foot massage on each foot which was really lovely and more than you would expect when just getting a pedicure. The only downside was that as I was their last appointment of the day - I didn't have enough time for my toes to dry, but they gave me a pair of flip flops to wear home so I didn't smudge my nails. Luckily it's a warm winter!
