- booked full manicure/full pedicure for a wrong date (my bad), so when I arrived the date of the booking had to be changed by the salon. For some reason my booking was changed to mini pedicure/mini manicure.
- pedicure was done alright but the salon didn’t use any liners for their foot spa (not super hygienic), toe separators were also used many times before judging by multicoloured polish stains on them, no disposable flip-flops were provided. Unless the salon sterilises/UVs all their appliances this is concerning. When I was asked to choose a polish colour I reached for an OPI shade but the technician demonstrated that all of the OPI’s are too old for good coverage, so I had to go to something else. That’s not dramatic, but they might want to renew their stock.
- manicure was done without soak or any softening oils - I payed the full manicure price and I can’t imagine full manicure being performed without any of these procedures.
- all in all, with a last minute discount and my first booking on Treatwell discount and the fact that I got an appointment from a salon 100 metres away just when I needed it the quality was satisfactory, but I wouldn’t dream of gong back for a full price.
