Everyone should model at least once; it increases respect hugely for what hairdressers do and the skills they need. Professionals make it seem easy. It isn’t - as I now know.
Although the cut took a LOT longer than scheduled - I have curly hair so this is understandable - I came out with what I think is my best cut ever.
This will be my final time entering the salon. I went in with a soft mullet that I wanted simply to connect and look more seamless.
I wish I can add a picture, but now I has a small tuft on the top of my hair and bald on all sides. This was the end product after the instructor tried to "fix" the terrible haircut his student did, the instructor did not supervise or correct throughout the cut. the fix is still terrible. no refund, and only complimentary cut/ colour - with people I cannot trust.
Thankfully I came out with a fine haircut, but my stylist had seemingly no idea what she was doing - have never been to a hair academy where someone seemed to be starting from scratch. She was very lovely and it turned out fine, but basically paid 20 quid to get a trim and have someone learn how to use a hairdryer, bless her. Would not go back running.
