I had a very good experience, and the staff there was polite and welcoming. I was served tea while waiting for my treatment, and it didn't take long. It was a nice area although at first I didn't realise it was under a basement and not the hair salon next door, though they are now one beauty salon.
Agaib, this time the staff was friendly and welcoming. I was given green tea after they asked if I wanted something to drink. The wait wasn't too long, and I felt the session was comfortable and the staff was.cobfident and not too chatty which was positive.
I was given a Birthday gift, I thoroughly enjoyed the Massage and love the atmosphere, it was a bit difficult to find, hope that can be fixed as outside don't do justice to inside.
I have been here a couple of times before and everytime I visit it has been a lovely experience. Nice and attentive staff.
This is a review for the chancery lane branch. I brought a voucher from wowcher for a 1 hour body wrap, 30 min facial and 30 minute massage for £29 and was looking forward to some me time. I was however, quite disappointed with the staff attitude and the treatment itself. Booking the appointment was no problem and finding it was ok as I called prior and asked for directions. The entrance is not a building its as if you are going down into a tube station which I thought was lovely because the ambience as soon as you step in from the busy street is perfect. Nice relaxing music and comfy sofas in receptipn area. The venue is small but clean. However, I was faced with the most bored looking receptionist the world ever did see and whilst she booked me in she did not look at me once. The therapist did not smile at me just said come through. I don't know her name because she did not introduce herself. There was no consultation for the massage or facial which made me nervous. The back massage did not last 30 minutes and was like someone just rubbing oil on my skin. There was no effort at all and it did not remotely relax me. It felt as if she just couldn't be bothered. The body wrap was an exfoliation scrub, again with no effort, and wrapping me up in the plastic I layed on. This was extremely uncomfortable because she had the air conditioning on and every time any bit of me was exposed I was freezing. The scrub was washed off with a wet towel whilst you lay on the bed so when I got dressed I had bits all over me still. Why no shower available? The therapist did not speak to me once during the whole time. I did not know she was about to start the facial so nearly jumped out of skin when unexpectedly I felt a cold cleanser on my face. I just found it rude. The facial however, was good and she massaged my face for a good while. Only at this point did I relax. When I got dressed and went outside I was not asked how my treatment was or offered a glass of water. The therapist just stared at me and went into another room to treat another client. The receptionist ignored me as I walked out. Didn't even say bye. Weird vibe. Never again.
