I found the difference between a deep tissue massage and a deep deep deep tissue massage. Katie worked the knots out of my back and I feel rebuilt by her magical touch.

So I went to Rose Nova originally for a massage a couple of weeks ago which was great. Katie the therapist was excellent and I had a brilliant Deep Tissue Massage which was excellent value for money. As I was leaving though, the proprietor strongly recommended an Anti stress Back Massage treatment for £45. She was a really strong and pushy salesperson and went on about the massive benefits from the treatment. Her exact words were "you will feel like a burden lifted off your shoulders" and she went on to say it was so good, that she would offer me money back if the treatment wasn't all that. As someone who is hypermobile and gets massages for pain relief, I must admit, I was an easy sale and got sweet-talked into booking this treatment. Which turned out to be an average pedicure minus the nails treatment + a back wrap. Thanks to Katie I did get a few minutes of massage time - but essentially my back felt like it had been doused with Deep Freeze. My neck and shoulders were still super tight after and it was the biggest let down. I offered to pay extra just to get 20 mins massage for my stiff neck and shoulders but unfortunately Katie had another appointment. I was hoping to see the proprietor to get my money back cos I definitely felt bullied into getting this treatment which was of absolutely no benefit and wished I'd just stuck to my massage. Unfortunately she wasn't around. Conclusion - if you're looking for a great massage, book with Katie and it's perfect. AVOID the fancy sounding treatments which are a complete waste of money. I will not be visiting again until the proprietor makes good on her money back offer - which I would use towards the massage, cos they are great.

It was great value and relaxing for 45 mins. Although It's not technically a massage
Katie my therapist was lovely. She spent some time finding out how I felt, what benefits I would like from the massage and explained exactly what she was going to do.
The massage was very relaxing and I did feel de-stressed and well after the treatment.
