The location is great - just off The Strand, and a few seconds from Covent Garden Piazza. It's inside a shared building and has a building receptionist - so it's not immediately recognisable as the right place! Decor in the main reception and throughout is lovely. My appointment was at 6.15pm, when other offices within the building were closing. The salon was down a metal winding staircase accessed from main reception, and when I got there I was led through several open plan rooms to the treatment room at the back. I think it would usually be quite nice, but as it was later in the day the cleaners were in and I had to squeeze past the cleaning trolley and over equipment. Not very 'relaxing' but once inside the room it was fine. Once through the formalities of the voucher payment/health questionnaire the facial began. The products used and the actual facial was good, although I was surprised that there wasn’t a face mask. Any other facial I have had has included one where you are left to relax for 10 minutes. The ‘extraction’ part of the facial was also a bit uncomfortable – although thorough! At one point I worried the therapist was going to break my cheek bone! Also the extreme difference between the darkened room when having the steam and the very bright light used for the ‘extraction’ left my eyes watering even though they were closed and covered with cotton pads. The facial also fell short of the 1 hour that it was supposed to last. I arrived 15 mins early, but did not go down to the room until 6.15 – the paperwork took at least 10 mins – then the facial was finished by about 7.05. In short – my skin does feel much better for having the facial. I thought the treatment was good, even though it was shorter. The products used were really good. I would consider going there again – but if I was paying full price I would have complained about the shorter appointment.
Facial was very good. Therapist is skilled and knowledgeable and left my face feeling renewed and refreshed. The treatment consisted of several steps including 2 masks, deep cleaning and a moisturizer
The place was bizarre but quite interesting. The therapist was nice and careful and I enjoyed the overall experience. She also spend some time making my skin profile, explaining my skin's need and gave me a few samples to try.
I think the negative reviews are a bit unjust. The place is right in a centre of Covent Garden, in a nice building. Even if they rent just one treatment room (which is btw nice and cosy), it's still nice to walk though a clean, freshly renovated and nicely decorated offices. You get a Dermalogica facial for 25£-30£, while the usual price for that kind of facial in the centre of London is at least 50£. The therapist is friendly, even if she's got an accent. And the massage she makes is actually the best and the longest out of all other places i've had the facials so far. I think it's a real bargain with good products and next to the tube location. I would be more than happy to find even better and more relaxing place with facilas for 30£ in the centre of London, but for now this is the one.

I won't be going back. The treatment room was in an office block off the kitchen. People could be heard talking and laughing when the music wasn't playing. She was late for the treatment. Didn't apologise. Didn't fill out a customer card so didn't know anything about me. Only after asked me to write my name and email address for offers. Did the manicure 1st. Was surprised that she had rimmel products to choose from. It didn't seem proffessional to have these high street brand products to choose from. The colour I wanted ran out so had to choose an alternative. The shaping was nice. The actual painting could've been better. I had to use some remover on the edges of 5 out of 10 digits when I got home. The facial left my skin feeling really soft. It didn't feel like she was very experienced. The lady is hungarian with a very strong accent. When she was describing what she was doing during the facial, as another wahanda member pointed out, she was mumbling and this was distracting. She left the room at least 3 times during the treatment. I thought she could've used the 10mins that she left me for to relax to conduct the massage. I did relax during this time but she was hovering by me, then behind the screen in the room, then walked outside. She stated that she face mapped my face and wrote the different type areas of my face and tried to sell me some products after. Needless to say I wasn't interested. She wasn't very friendly. Didn't really try and make much conversation.
