Things didn't start well when I couldn't get into the building - it's based in a business block which works fine during working hours but after work there is no receptionist and details aren't provided about what number to press. The therapist was apologetic when she collected me, although we were already running a couple of minutes late.
The facial itself was underwhelming. I felt like the therapist wasn't set up and ready for me, as it seemed to take a long time to get started. There was a cleanse, scrub, steam and mask, the last two of which meant that the therapist left me while they worked, meaning that she spent less than half the time I was there in contact with my face. At one point the cotton pad on my eye slipped off and when I looked over the therapist was on her phone - it didn't make me feel welcome let alone pampered.
The products - dermalogica- were excellent. When I got home, however, I realised that the mask hadn't been removed properly and was still on my jaw, ears and well into my hairline.
I've been before and that experience was better - but based on this facial I would not recommend or return.
