Very pleased and would recommend anyone to have their hair done at Mystery Beauty, Crouch End, as it is a real gem. The haircutting and styling is as good as top salons at a fraction of the price.

Wanted to try somewhere closer to home and a bit cheaper than my usual. Thought I had booked a cut and blow for £25, turns out I'd only booked a wash and cut and it cost me an addition tenner for a blowdry, which is the same price as my usual place except this place was nowhere near up to scratch.
I had also booked for 12pm but the lady said I was an hour late (I checked my Treatwell email and it definitely said 12pm). I didn't really get what I asked for, as I have thick hair and wanted it thinned out and the weight taken out with only half an inch off the length. She took about an inch and a half off the length and didn't thin it out. I'll have to go to my old place to get it sorted now.
Also, not a great atmosphere. Think it's family-run and there was some kind of heated dispute going on in the background as there was a lot of raised voices. The hairdryer heat was also so hot that it was burning my scalp. Not a pleasant experience and a waste of my time and money.

Rita is a very talented stylist and colourist and a lovely lady too. I am SO HAPPY with my full head of highlights, the colour is absolutely amazing! Enjoyed my whole visit, friendly atmosphere and staff and I was able to relax and chill out. Fantastic value, cannot recommend this place enough. I will certainly be going back. Thank you Rita xxx

I would definitely go back to Mystery Hair and Beauty. I got a full head of foils and a toner and found it to be incredible value for money! Rita was my colourist and she listened to what I wanted and was able to give me the exact colour I was after. What I found refreshing about Mystery Hair and Beauty was they didn't try to push extra products or treatments onto the bill and the whole experience was very chilled out and relaxing, not pretentious or uncomfortable at all. I'm very happy with my hair and will definitely be going back.
