Starting with the positives, I cannot fault the salon for friendliness: they are lovely people and really do make you feel welcome. However I left with a colour disaster. Orangey roots and ends that had gone a dull dishwater colour. Owen did seem to be aware as he said the ends had gone darker and would wash out. He also kept apologising for the lighting in the salon being dull so I felt that he knew the colour wasn’t up to scratch. In the moment, I went along with it as they had been so nice, but once I got home and had a proper look in the mirror I was completely gutted. A couple of weeks later, I’ve only just managed to get the grey dishwater colour out of my ends by using freshly squeezed lemon juice. Not really something you should need to do after a trip to the hairdressers! I’m still left with an orangey tint and no blonde as I had wanted.
The haircut was also disappointing. He spent about 3 minutes at the back and didn’t even come to the sides as promised. Overall it was a really disappointing experience so unfortunately I would not recommend.
