TREATMENT: Hollywood Hot Wax & Threading
I arrived 10mins early for my 11am appointment, there were 3 people waiting in front of me. All of them had been waiting for quite a while but no one had greeted them (could not see anyone in the clinic). Two customers left before anyone greeted us.
We were eventually greeted and the technician apologised as one of the technicians was running late. The person ahead of me then went for her appointment with the women who greeted us.
Eventually my technician arrived, she greeted me and took me into the room.
Problems with the wax:
* When we started, the wax was still hard and when it was being APPLIED it started ripping out my hair.
* Instead of applying the wax to small sections/area's, the technician covered my entire pubic area with wax (in two sections).
* Technician was applying wax against the direction of my pubic hair. When pulling off the wax, it was being pulled in the direction if the hair growth. It was incredibly painful.
* The Technician also incorrectly applied wax to my clitoris and when she tried to pull, it ripped at me. It was excruciating.
* As the waxing continued, the wax went from semi-hard to overly hot. Again, very painful.
After the wax, I was left in a chair waiting to have my brows threaded.
While I was waiting to have my brows threaded, the women who arrived shortly after me, was still sitting in the waiting area. She had been waiting at least 45mins.
Eventually the women who greeted me (possibly the owner) came and threaded my brows. It was quite rushed and my eyebrows were not the same shape. However, her manner was a lot more calming than the first technician. Everything felt extremely rushed.
When the technician finished threading my brows she thanked me and said goodbye. I had to wait awkwardly so I could pay, I could've walked out and they would've assumed I had already paid. Eventually she realised, by me standing at the counter, that I still needed to pay.
As I was paying by card, she realised my total came to £30 and asked me to walk to the atm down the road as the minimum card payment is £31.
She agreed to "let me off" the minimum charge fee, as I'd made a comment about how long I had waited to be seen.
I will not be returning to this clinic.

Clean and my therapist was lovely but the threading and waxing process took an unusually long time.
