More of a back rub than a massage, during the initial consultation I mentioned I had a few knots and wanted my upper back and shoulders focused on. No knots were found it was so light let alone worked on! I came out feeling very disappointed. I wasn’t asked once if the pressure etc was ok and the lady doing it was so timid and young I felt uncomfortable complaining at the time. looking back I should have as quite frankly it was a waste of money. The clinic was clean but there was no where to put your clothes- not a basket under the bed or anything which was a bit odd. There was also a lot of noise from the corridor. I won’t be going back which is a shame
So disappointed. I’ve been to Radiance a number of times and always have the best massages and facials, but the pedicure was the worst I have ever had. My feet were left with cuts on them, and bleeding. The therapist used something to take off the dead skin but didn’t use a buffer so my feet were left feeling really grainy. All over my feet were marks from the tool she used. The water was so hot and when I asked for more cold water I was made to feel that it was an inconvenience. The therapist said no more than three words to me the whole time. I felt really uncomfortable. She didn’t ask if I wanted the nails cut so just filed them. She took ages to paint the nails and didn’t use toe separators which made it difficult. She didn’t ask if I had brought flip flops. Luckily I had. She left to see her next client whilst I waited for the nails to dry. She didn’t say anything to me so I ended up checking they were dry enough myself before leaving. I booked the pedicure with Radiance as I was going away and needed my feet beach ready... they were not. If I’d had time I would have gone somewhere else. Instead I had to do them myself.
The staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of colours. Tho the place used for manicures is a bit too dark, the visibility isn't great. Therefore in my opinion the outcome didn't look as nice as it would've in natural light.
