Having been previously traumatised by Hollywood waxes, as I'd had my first from a cheaper salon in which the lady did not know what she was doing with hot wax, I was scared to try it again. However, Regency Beauty's reviews all seemed excellent, so I booked my appointment and went in on the same day. The receptionist was friendly as was Marion who did the waxing for me, and she was extremely patient with me despite my frequent, involuntary leg tensing. The treatment hurt a LOT LESS than my previous Hollywood waxing experience, despite me having coarse, dark hair, and it was obvious that Marion was well trained and knew exactly what she was doing. I have had an excellent experience with Regency Beauty, and will be returning. Only taking one star off the value, as if you book directly with Regency on Tuesdays it is £3 less than the Treatwell price, however I can hardly complain with that small difference.
