After being diagnosed with ME at 16 years old I started researching alternative therapies and found it fascinating and benefitted from different therapies. At age 20 although I was still quite ill I went on to complete a diploma in aromatherapy full body massage. Over the years I have continued to do lots of research and try new therapies. I chose to treat only friends and family at this time. Then at a social occasion 8 years ago I met Mathew and after discussing how I was struggling with chronic neck pain I booked in at his clinic for myofascial release. I was amazed at how good I felt after just 1 treatment. So this is where my interest came from to find out more about myofascial work. In October 2017 I completed angelic reiki course and decided to take a career break, and during this time I trained in beauty therapy, Indian head massage and hot stone massage. I found I really loved the more holistic side with massage and facials. June 2018 I launched my own business as a mobile therapist. January 2019 I completed level 1 myofascia release therapy training and the feedback from using the techniques in with massage has been amazing. I have continued with reading and researching as it is so amazing how the body reacts. November 2019 I travelled to London to complete level 2 myofascia training and also added in reflexology training to further increase my skills to offer a bespoke treatment to really help my clients to feel the benefit.
