There is no separate treatment room and the treatment area is only partly covered with a curtain. The equipment is not processional (e.g. the steamer is poor quality and not adjustable, I had to turn my head towards the table where the steamer is). Black/white head removal didn't feel professional, they use force instead of technique. My face was bruised after the treatment and the scars are still visible (3 days after the treatment). However, the staff was nice and friendly.
I booked an eyebrow threading, I arrived and they told me if I wanted waxing instead because they didn’t know what time the other therapist would be back and the second one was busy doing a haircut. I said I could wait for a bit — waited for 45’ for a booking that lasts 15’ max. Another lady arrived who has also prepaid for eyebrow and lip threading and they were really trying to convene her to do waxing instead. I think this is extremely unprofessional. I read past reviews & this is a theme.
I am kicking myself for not finding this hidden gem sooner, the hairdresser was wonderful, understanding and most importantly listen to exactly what I wanted! While I was there the Beautican Bruna done a Brazilian Wax as she has spare time to do it and it was the least painful wax I have ever had. You have a new regular. Thank you ladies, I will be recommending you to friends and family.
There is no waxing room, the waxing happens in a hairdressing salon, with a curtain pulled between the naked person being waxed and the people getting a haircut. The hairdresser asked the beautician to pass her the dye for her customer, and other accessories, each time interrupting our treatment.
The quality of the wax and/or waxing paper is really poor making the waxing incredibly painful compared to what I have ever experienced. I was red for more than 24h. I left with some hair and a BRUISE.
