Great salon, the therapists are lovely and made sure I was happy. The treatments were very speedy (meaning I could get both done in my lunch hour) but with a lot of attention to detail! Very impressed and will definitely be back soon.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I had booked a Hollywood wax and showed up three minutes late (there's really not much you can do if the tube is delayed!) and once I was already in the room and the treatment had started was I told that due to the delay I'd only be able to get a bikini. This meant I didn't really have a choice to change my mind or refuse. I was informed that there was absolutely no way that the original treatment could be given because of time constraints before being turfed out only 10 minutes into the 20 minute appointment (so clearly, there was more time!). I wasn't happy with the final result which I wasn't given much choice in, as I will have to now pay the full price again to have it done properly elsewhere, when I was only *three minutes* late.
When I asked for a refund I was initially only offered the price difference between a Hollywood and a bikini, to be given to me in credit to be used at Pure Wax at a later date. I'm not really inclined to come again after today so it wasn't much of a refund. I was also refused any kind of confirmation in writing or email that this refund/credit would be issued to me. It was only after I complained was I offered a proper refund of the £8 price difference through Treatwell but to be honest it's not really adequate as I will have to pay the full price to get it redone properly elsewhere.
Pure Wax was recommended highly to me by a friend and I had a great experience here previously so I'm very disappointed to receive such shoddy service purely because of an unavoidable 3 minute delay, and I won't be returning in the future.
