The salon is situated at the back of a weird gift shop on the strand, which isn't totally what I anticipated. There are also TVs on in all of the treatment rooms, which I was confused about.
My therapist did not wash her hands, or even clean the make-up off my eyebrows, before the treatment, which shocked me as I was wearing make-up.
I couldn't have the tinting, as I hadn't had the patch test, so only had my eyebrows threaded – they were left zigzag-y along the bottom, and uneven, which is incredibly frustrating. I stressed that I wanted them to be left as thick as possible, and only one was.
The card machine wasn't working, so I had to leave the salon, walk down the road to get cash out, and then return to pay.
All in all I was really disappointed.

All the girls, Fran, Adelina, are really amazing. So friendly, efficient and precise. Once I tried them I can't go anywhere else.

I had my first wax at Pure Wax a couple of days ago and was really pleased with the service and how quick – and good – Fran was. She was really nice, too. There was a lovely, friendly receptionist as well.
