I've been to a few wax sessions but this was unfortunately the worst. I felt the woman lacked training and as a result it was one of the most painful experiences I've had. She would apply the wax then pull the strip off with the grain of the hair. Therefore nothing would come out and she needed several attempts at one spot. She had me standing up at one point, which made no sense as I was a lot taller than her and surely this made it difficult. She punched me on the face when pulling a strip off my chest. She said I should have cut the hair before, but how would I have known that. Maybe send out a pre-appointment message? And she wasn't a big conversationalist. Just kept asking if I was ok. Which is terrible as in no situation where you are in pain will you be ok, just get on with it. I won't be going back.
