Hi, I'm Bridget Dwyer, I am a qualified Beauty Therapist of over 30 years and the founder of Puraskin Clinic in Haverfordwest Pembrokeshire. After developing an interest in beauty at a young age I studied NVQ level 2 & 3 at East Surrey College, along with other various further qualifications. Upon finishing my training I opened my first salon Bridge-A-Nail. I loved creating, So I thought Id put my skills to the test by entering nail completions at Nail News, Professional Beauty Olympia. I placed 2nd 1997, 1998 and 1999 in Nail Art and Runner up 1998 and 1999 in Fiberglass Nails. I also entered Carlton Student Electrotherapist of the year 2007 and placed 4th. This really enabled me to shine and gain experience of competing. Following great feedback and consistently high performance I rapidly progressed and studied BA Honours Degree in Makeup, Hair for The Performing Art, Film and TV at University of Arts London. This enabled me to use my creative flair by working on film sets, theatre, music videos and the Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee. I then completed my Teaching Qualification with Assessing and IQA. This enabled me to Teach VTCT in Special Effects, Nail Technology, Beauty Therapy, Hair and Barbering within the College and Prison environment. I then progressed by completing L4 IQ Verify in Skin Rejuvenation Techniques for Aesthetic Practitioner at School of Aesthetic A.R.T Essex. I am! so proud to be the first non medic registered on the JCCP Register. I then moved to Haverfordwest to concentrate on building up relationships with my own clientele within a my clinic environment. So Puraskin Clinic was Born. At the clinic I offer a personal yet professional service in a dedicated beauty, laser aesthetic environment with a huge variety of treatments available. I have always taken great pride in my work and make sure I am constantly updating my skills to ensure my knowledge is up to date with the latest trends. My number one goal is for you to enjoy your experience in my clinic and for you to leave feeling completely refreshed and revitalised.
