I booked Proud Thai Spa based on good reviews on Treatwell and I was very impressed with the experience. I was running a little late so didn’t have time to take in the welcome and reception but the massage itself was fantastic. The room was nice and clean and the massage bed was really comfortable. The ambience was set with candles, dim lighting and calming music. My masseuse was brilliant - she was attentive and asked about why I was there (trying to manage chronic neck and shoulder pain) and she then really made an effort to focus on these areas. We also chatted throughout which put me at ease when she was really working on the sore and more sensitive areas. I am glad the spa is located so nearby to home!

Juliet was great and I had a very good massage.
From the pictures and main reception area the venue looks lovely. However, I was a bit dissapointed that the massage took place in a rather dingy room that was a little grubby. When I put my face on the pillow all I could see was a shower cubicle with dirty grouting. I think the atmosphere needs to be just as good as the massage and, unfortunately, the former would put me off from booking again.
