The staff were unwelcoming and frosty with me from the moment I stepped in to the salon. Nobody came to greet me or even smiled at me. I was not offered a glass of water, despite the fact that it was 28 degrees outside and is common curtesy to do so at most salons. Nobody took my bag or suggested a place to hang it so it sat at my feet collecting strands of my hair (and others as the floor was not clean). I paid for a wash, restyle and blowdry (which is supposed to be a 1 hour slot) instead I received 30 minutes of treatment, which at £44 is NOT good value. She was almost rushing. The cut was okay. I was also asked, rather rudely, if I had been cutting my own hair!! Which is rude at the best of times but especially as I have never cut my own hair and have always happily paid for regular cuts. To top it all off I was then chased down the street and grabbed by the shoulders, after leaving the salon, by the owner who asked to see proof that I had prepaid for the appointment! I had to show her my mobile banking statment to prove that I had paid. ONLY visit this salon if you can stomach the very rude, miserable and incompetent staff.
After several bad experiences over the year I was nervous about getting my hair cut. I decided to give PROFILE a try after seeing it everyday as i work nearby and I was not disappointed.My stylist really took the time to listen to what I wanted and seemed to understand my vision. She was chatty and friendly but didn’t force the conversation as some do. I absolutely love my new style and I’m already excited to go back. Thank you.
