The staff was really friendly and the price for a Hollywood Wax is also very reasonable. However, I didn't consider my experience as a Hollywood Wax because to me a Hollywood is ''all-off''. In this case it was like a standard Brazilian Wax. Overall, I was happy with my experience and would book again, because the beautician, I think her name was Lorraine, was superfriendly and made me feel welcomed.

Overall wonderful experience. The beautician was absolutely lovely and made me feel comfortable throughout. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone in the local area or needing a last minute booking like myself.

I almost never do beauty or reviews but just getting my 2nd set of eyelash extensions at Profile and had to respond to Rachel-J who seemed to be writing about a different place! The experience she described was the opposite of mine. The first time I had them I was so nervous - afraid I’d look silly as I’m not young or ‘girlie’ - and didn’t think they would last until my holiday as I spend hours doing sweaty classes at the gym. But they helped me choose the right style & length and were patient, reassuring and kept me from being fidgety during the hour or so it took to apply them. I hadn’t worn eyelashes for years so they felt odd for a few hours but after that I didn’t notice I had them on. I was told to come back at any time if I had any problems or needed ‘maintenance’ but there was no need. It’s all just the same today and I know my lashes will stay looking good. When I had them for my Sports camp, I recall still getting compliments more than 3 weeks later. As a result, 2 of my friends joined me as Profile customers and are equally happy.

Eyelash Extensions
DO NOT GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE!!
I have never written a bad review but I had to make sure that nobody else goes through this awful experience.
The girl that did my lashes took a total of 10 minutes to complete what is indicated as a 90minute treatment. I had asked for natural looking lashes but they were extremely fake looking, however, I don't like to complain unless really necessary so was willing to overlook this. I told the girl that they were scratching my eyes and were very uncomfortable when she had finished. She said that there was nothing wrong with them and that they would soften in a few hours. I left the salon taking her word for this. Over the next week they did not soften and they started to irritate my eyes even more pulling out clumps of my own eyelashes and causing my eyelash line to redden and swell. I contacted the salon to ask for them to be removed but was ignored!!
I ended up going elsewhere to have them removed and the lady (who trains beauticians in eyelash extension application) said they were one of the worst she had EVER seen and took photos to use as examples of badly done lashes to show her trainees. She had a difficult job removing them as the amount of glue used was extremely excessive and clumps of my eyelashes were glued to the fake lashes when only one should be attached to each lash. After removal she also said that she would never even stock this size lash as they are far too heavy for your natural lash to cope with, hence why mine had been falling out. I am now left with bald patches and the remaining lashes are brittle and damaged beyond repair.
