I booked a gel manicure with extra nail art for my mother, hoping to treat her. But when she arrived, the nail artist admitted she wasn’t great at nail art and asked her to choose something simpler. My mom opted for a classic red gel manicure, which turned out beautiful, and she’s happy with it. The nail artist did a great job, but I can’t help feeling frustrated that I paid £6 extra for nail art that was never really an option.
