My appointment was at 10 so I expected the venue to be open when I arrived (a little before 10) but this wasn’t the case. During the appointment there was a lot of noise/people (builders?) coming in and out of the venue which didn’t make the experience very relaxing. The beautician also took a call during the appointment. Apart from that, while the wax was generally ok (albeit one of the most painful I’ve ever had), what I disliked the most was the beautician’s attitude - she judged me for shaving and said ‘not good’ several times. She also asked if I was married/had a boyfriend and said that he ‘will be happy’ - woman, that’s not why I’m waxing! I tried my best not to be offended, especially as I appreciate that there are cultural differences and she probably wasn’t trying to be malicious - all in all, you may want to give this a miss if you shave regularly and want a less judgemental and more relaxing experience.
