I was seen really quickly and efficiently by the staff at Primas. It’s in a great and easy to get to location and is very reasonably priced for the service that you get.

Worst manicure I’ve ever had! Nails are important to me. I usually do them myself but decided to treat myself with a gel manicure as a few busy weeks coming up. On arrival, I was disappointed to find a very limited selection of gel colours (including no glitter options). My appointment was for 30 minutes but I left nearly 1 and a half hours later, extremely disappointed. The nail technician made my nails shorter, at my request, but did not seem to know how to do this with the length/strength of my nails. She cut them with a nail clipper which broke/damaged most nails. She then tried to file these down and ended up having to try and fix the broken bits before beginning the gel polish application, to keep the nails the same length. I naturally have square nails, and at all previous manicure, I’m either asked how I want the shape, or they know to keep it the same. This time my nails have been filed into a round shape, not that it looks bad but it is not what I wanted. Considering how short my nails already were, asking for her to change this to square would have meant basically having no nails left. Considering the broken nails from earlier, there are dents in my nails where they have been damaged. The polish application was no better. A lot of my nails are now very thick and it does not look good. The polish has been put on top of my cuticles in several places meaning it started coming up that same evening. On some nails, it has not been applied evenly on the sides, leaving gaps. I think possibly stressed from overrunning (although a late appointment, I don’t think anyone was booked after me), the top coat was missed from my left hand. By the time I was done, I didn’t even see the point in complaining. Whilst the lady was nice, the experience was not. It is certainly not what you’d expect from a decent salon! As soon as I arrived home, I filed down some of the uneven edges, to make my nails less easily breakable given the state they were left in. A few days later, the polish has started to discolour so the pink has now blended with an unappealing orange shade. I’m really truly disappointed. I cannot wait for this weekend so I can take these off. Will be asking for a full refund and submitting a complaint!
