Huma was great. I felt really welcomed when I entered and she put me at ease straight away and throughout the appointment. The waxing was one of my least painful waxing experiences - I was very grateful! There is some construction work happening at the salon and Huma was very honest about that and apologetic. I can’t wait to see it once it’s done!

I usually go to Viya in Sutton, but because I was in Morden I decided to go here, even though it was a few pounds more expensive.
The lady apologised for the state of the place as she had workmen in and also she complained about the staff she had had over the weekend.
But my issue was with the accumulated grime that I saw and was clearly not to do with anything that had happened recently.

Th patch test was fine and simple. Arrived and was promptly seen too by Huma. The whole patch test took around 2 minutes from start to finish.

On arrival all the ladies were lovely and welcoming, however the lady we had booked was late- which wasn’t too much of a problem as I know traffic/parking can be a challenge.
Got our eyebrows threaded and tinted firstly, love these. No complaints regarding this treatment, although when waiting for the tint to set it gave me an opportunity to look around the environment and notice the uncleanliness of some areas.
Then came the lashes, which unfortunately were the big let down. We felt it was rushed as they done both mine and my mums lashes within an hour, when we understood they should have taken 1hr 30mins each. When we left, we were in love with them, however they started falling out in clumps, leaving us with large noticeable gaps, these were also supposed to be individual extensions like mentioned under the description of the beauty treatment. We returned to the salon after 3 days and she redone the gaps, so we went away satisfied again, however 2 days later again they were falling out in large noticeable clumps again. I understand they are supposed to fall out but the description says they last up to three weeks, ours barely lasted 2 days without noticeable gaps. We also followed all instructions on how to look after them, keeping them dry for 48 hours and not touching them only to brush them delicately. When ringing up to see when was suitable for us to pop back, she actually said ‘I was actually expecting your call’ and said it was due to it being the first time we got our lashes done. Since then, I had my lashes removed elsewhere.
Unfortunately due to the lash experience this is why I have rated the overall experience 2 stars. Would have been 1 if they had not tried to fix them. I’m not one to usually leave bad reviews, but I would hate for this to happen to someone else.
