The welcome when I arrived was friendly, but I had to stop the therapist when she was leaving the room (after she told me to undress and lie on the bed) what I needed doing with my deep tissue massage, rather than her consulting me on my requirements. This is what I would have expected a salon to do with a new client.
However, the deep tissue massage was exactly what it should be - deep. It was the hardest and more pressured massage I've ever had, and exactly what it should be like in every salon. Knots were found and worked on properly, instead of a feeble attempt to massage them with the least amount of effort. I was sore for a day, but now my back and neck feel really loose and free.
