Wouldn't ever normally write a bad review but as the whole experience was so unprofessional I feel a duty to others.
First impressions weren't great as I wasn't offered a coffee/water which is now standard practice for hairdressers. The Hairdresser seemed bored that I was there like I was an inconvenience!
I went for half head of highlights and cut which the lady conveniently forgot about the cut at the end so I had to remind her I had paid for a cut in the offer.
I asked for some of my natural colour to be brought through as it's winter so I wanted to tone down, so after the highlights were put in she ran a cream through the sections she hadn't highlighted which she didn't tell me she was going to do beforehand (or run through how she was going to tone down my hair) When I asked what she was using she told me it's to make it darker and I had to ask 3 times what she was using until the other hairdresser eventually answered and said toner (again in a very bored voice). When she washed my highlights out she burned my head about 3 times with the hot water and managed to get the water all down my top. When rough drying my hair she stuck her fingers in my ears to (I guess) dry them too?!
The way she blew dry my hair was strange and not how I would normally hope for plus using the wrong brushes. When I eventually saw the effect of what she had done it was not what I was hoping for. I had gone from platinum blonde to dark grey with 2 huge blonde streaks at the front...
The cut was atrocious as she shaped around my face and seemed to randomly hack away at sections.
As I attended on a Saturday I expected it to be booming and it was dead...which goes to show! Decor is generally out of date.
All in all a terrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone.
I would almost suggest they go back on a hairdressers course/change profession as they didn't exactly have the passion for the job.
