Although this is a very vibrant and nice salon in Shoreditch, I’m not satisfied about the experience I had.
I had selected a semi-permanent colour and at my arrival I explained the current products and colour codes I’ve been using. I wanted something really natural, to not change my natural base and especially not a permanent dye. I was expecting that the colourist would look carefully at my hair colour, maybe with swatches to make sure to get it right. This didn’t happen.
As soon as he put the product on, I had the feeling the dye was to harsh as soon after it started burning.
I also found the application of the colour was a bit clumsy as it was very fast, and I had colour all over my forehead and on my neck that didn’t went away with the shampoo.
I had my shampoo, I had my blow dry and in the lights of the saloon the colour looked a bit lighter than mine but ok.
As soon as I went out (with brown stains on my forehead from before) I noticed that with the sunlight my roots were revealing a very different colour from the rest of my hair: it was horrible! I definitely think what he put on me was a discolouring product and now all my hair looks red rather then brown.
My head also started itching after a while and had to wash it sooner than expected.
