Olivia did a lovely cut for me and listened to what I wanted. The salon was very busy and it seemed a bit hectic, which was apologised for at the time. It didn't bother me too much but it could make it a not very relaxing experience. However the main thing was that I was happy with my hairdresser and my haircut. I'd say £29 is about right for this, I wouldn't pay more.
Busy, popular salon in central Manchester
with friendly staff. Liked the cut, and the blow -dry by one of the stylists, Jodie. I usually leave a salon not liking the way it has been styled, and prefer it once I've washed it myself, but was very happy with it as I left the salon.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Nice, relaxed salon. My hairstylist was lovely and spent time thinking through what I wanted. I had a good cut and blow dry. The only problem was that I had highlights for the first time and I was very disappointed. I asked for natural looking ones but after 2 hours and quite an expense I can't actually see any difference in my hair colour.
Overall - pretty happy with the colour & cut. The blonde in the highlights is a bit ashy & not as honey/warm as I'd usually prefer but they did a great job with coverage etc and it looks really natural. I thought the salon looked a bit tired & dirty. There were cups and towels lying around and the floor was covered in hair when I arrived. The staff were really nice, but clearly they'd been overbooked & were rushed off their feet. They kept forgetting to bring me a coffee, and my appointment took much longer than it should have. The music was a bit loud & jarring, and the downstairs area in the salon, where I was, is definitely not glamorous & is in need of a revamp. The price was great for a good cut, colour & blowdry (£52.50) but overall the ambience and experience left a lot to be desired.
