This is the first time I've had this done. I have really thick unruly hair and they took their time to make sure it was done well. I've not washed it yet and it's been around 4 days since I got it done, I've spent a lot of time on trains and the tube since then which usually affects my hair a lot and I have to put it up to cope but I've not had to do this at all. I will be getting it done again :)

They gave me a great haircut and a consultation about growing out my hair and colour, but the overall cleanliness of the salon was not good - there were piles of hair on the floor everywhere and nothing seemed tidy or clean, which detracts from the luxury aspect of the experience.
I had Hair Colouring and Highlights Treatment with Stylist and it was not bad, the result is OK.
I turned up for my appointment to find that the booking hadn't gone through to their system properly and the person I'd booked with couldn't see me for over an hour. Agreed to rebook for another day via the salon's own system. When I turned up the 2nd time the booking had been messed up again. I agreed to switch down a grade of stylist in order to get the much-needed cut done (no partial refund to cover the difference offered).
I requested a cut that would work well with my natural curls as well as when I blow-dry it straighter. The stylist seemed obsessed with removing all trace of volume & shape from my hair, no product was used before the blow dry. The ends looked really blunt and ugly so I had to request layering be added. I wasn't even offered a drink until halfway through when my stylist overheard another offer her client a one.
I ended up with a decidedly average cut that didn't feel like the work of a senior stylist. Instead of leaving feeling like a million dollars, I ended up feeling ignored, undervalued, resorting to dashing home to recut the front and re-style to stop it looking so limp and lifeless before an important meeting.
