I have visited this salon previously for colour and blow dry treatments and have always been really satisfied. I was slightly surprised to find the salon mid refurb when I turned up for my most recent appointment but I was taken downstairs for my appointment and away from the building site above so no harm done.
My stylist was lovely, chatty and friendly as always but I have to say how disappointed I am with my cut. I only have a basic one length bob and ask for an inch off just to tidy it up. As it wasn't blow dried as I usually wear it so it was hard to see the cut but as soon as I got home and straightened over it I found 3 pieces of hair that had been missed altogether and a really crooked blunt cut on the base length. As well as that, it had been shaped around the front from a centre parting when I always wear it to my left so as soon as put my parting back in it just sits so awkwardly around the front. I have been left with a hair cut that, if I'm honest, I'm really quite disappointed with and I've had to snip away at to attempt to correct. Ordinarily I would ask for it to be looked at but I think the only solution is to cut it shorter to correct it and I am concerned that it will only happen again, so it's a grin a bear it job I'm afraid.
Real shame and I'm hopeful that my stylist was just having an off day, but for a premium salon and price I did expect better.
Excellent haircut, great salon. The stylist was professional and friendly and the blow dry held for days.
Excellent blow dry, would highly recommend Ash if you want a curly evening blow out.
The girl who washed my hair was also lovely!
