Very happy with this treatment, I have extremely thick, long, coarse hair. It's usually a struggle to get a brush through it. The treatment was great and it's been about 4 days, my hair is still smooth and soft!
I'd been to Pierre Alexandre before, and had been really pleased with the experience, so I was a bit disappointed this time round. I'd booked for 4pm, and received a phonecall telling me the stylist was running late, and I should try to arrive between 4.15 and 4.30. I arrived at 4.20, but when I arrived the reception staff were chatting amongst themselves and nobody said anything about the delay. I sat in the waiting area until 4.50, when the stylist was ready, but then had to wait again for someone to wash my hair, and again after that for him to come back, which was annoying as I felt they could have let me know the extent of the delay. The girl who washed my hair was pretty rough, and barely said a word to me, which felt weird. I'm not displeased with my cut and blowdry, and the stylist was really nice and friendly, but I felt it was a bit rushed. I always explain that I have really thick hair, and I leave it write a while between cuts, so I like a lot of the weight cut out of it, but he just didn't really do that. I usually have it curled when I go to the hairdresser, and I felt he got a bit preoccupied with drying it in curls, whereas I find that due to the length of my hair, most hairdressers dry it straight, cut a lot off once it's dry, then curl it. I'm not not sure if I'll go back or recommend Pierre Alexandre now, whereas I definitely would have before this experience, I just felt a little bit disappointed that I didn't get what I wanted.
