I usually have great experiences here, but the last gel application made me realise that the quality can vary wildly. The gel on two nails peeled off within 24 hours, there were significant gaps around all of the edges and ultimately almost all of them chipped within a week (which is unprecedented). I’d recommend selecting a technician to avoid these issues after the initial visit.
Usually get a pedi here and it’s fine but had a mani after ages since new staff have joined and can’t say it’s good. On the same day of getting my gel mani done, one nail chipped and took some of the nail with it too 😳 tried to arrange a time to come back in to repair the nail, which salon apologised for but I got fed up of keep rearranging it as they couldn’t do a time that worked for me even though she said it will only take 4 mins to sort out so gave up in the end, didn’t bother going in. Most thing I’m annoyed about is the therapist who was doing my mani was pulling at my skin at cuticles and around nail when the skin was fine and she ended up cutting me, and now all my 10 fingers have skin peeling off by cuticles which feels sore and looks horrible. Not very hygienic in my opinion. Not sure I would go back for a mani again. Surprised as usually pedis are fine. Think they are also getting busier and slightly less attentive to what they used to be. I miss Lucy 😩 she was a brilliant nail technician.
