This was my first ever professional manicure so I can't compare. But it was a very pleasant moment. Don't expect the staff to be chatty - they aren't, but that's the way I like it so I dint mind at all. The lady was very smiling and kind.
And the Shellac itself is wonderful : I had the feeling I had fake nails ! The color was wonderful (I chose a Burgundy over a large range of colors).
Two weeks after, I'm still very happy ! The color is still intact (except for a small chip that cannot be seen unless you give it extra attention) so it is well worth the money !
The only thing is that you actually have to go back to the salon (or any one) to remove...
At the end of day, I'm very happy with my Shellac Manicure at this place.
Paid for half head highlights and when I got there I was then told for the colour to work there would be an additional charge of £20 for the bleach?? I have never heard of that before in all the years that I have had my hair coloured. I felt slightly under pressure to say yes, as I was now sat down ready to have it done. Wouldn't have been as bad if I actually like the end result. The colour was not how I wanted at all.
I also had a pedicure done and have had it done at the salon before and can't be faulted. They were perfect
On the plus side, I do like the salon, the staff are polite, friendly and made me feel very welcome.
Staff was lovely- very kind and welcoming. The lady who cut my hair really took her time and didn't rush it. She also made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before she started cutting. Overall I'd highly recommend the place. Great location too- just opposite the tube stop.
