I recently booked a pedicure and manicure at the salon last minute, as my usual nail salon was fully booked - I wish I never bothered.
I paid for a full pedicure & manicure, however since leaving the salon I noticed a few issues with both services.
The Full pedicure - when I spend £20 on a pedicure I expect the following:- file, reshape, cuticle work, foot soak, exfoliation, dead skin removal and polish - I received all of the above. However, I think even I could’ve done a better job! Hardly no skin was removed at all & to top it off she cut my toe during filing. I must admit the foot massage was very good and the aftercare when the polish had dried.
As I had two staff working on both feet and hands at the same time, I expected to leave after 1 hour - I was in fact in there nearly two hours!! At one time I was left unattended for 30 minutes - even I know it doesn’t take that long for polish to dry!!
The manicure I have no faults with but the application of the polish - upon inspection after leaving the salon the polish had not left a smooth finish, which is what I expect after paying £40 for both treatments - I ended up having to remove all and reapply myself at home!
I must admit I felt welcome to begin with by staff, but by the end not so much - will not be going back.
