Nice salon. The lady doing my manicure paid a lot of attention painting my nails and making sure I was happy with the shape and the colour. She put a base, two coats of nail polish and a top coat which I liked. My only but is that I think maybe the nail polish I chose was a little old as it took absolute ages to dry (I left after an hour instead of 35’ and it still wasn’t quite dry) and even though I thought it dried by the time I went to sleep, I got sheet marks on my nails :( On the other hand, it’s been a week and I have no chips! Very good value for money :)

Worst microdermabrasion experience ever. Having had microdermabrasion regularly for 4 years now I’m familiar with the process and results. It was clear straight away the beautician was not conducting the treatment appropriately, and when I questioned her on this unfortunately her English was very poor so she was unable to understand me. At the end I was left with 5 bruises across my forehead, chin and cheeks. This has never happened before with this treatment. When I raised it the salon tried to blame my skin! Bruises however have nothing to do with skin sensitivity, they’re caused by blood being bought to the skin surface due to broken blood vessels via trauma or suction... in this case it’s likely the beautician used the incorrect suction and technique. I’d also like to add that at the start of the treatment I wasn’t required to fill out any sort of form about my skin and treatment history which all other places I have visited do as standard, and I was given no aftercare information at all. It’s only because I have had this treatment before that I am aware of the aftercare such as needing to use SPF for 2 weeks afterwards which is incredibly important to avoid skin pigmentation! The salon did refund me the cost of the treatment, but overall this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in London and I would caution anyone considering this salon to think twice and go somewhere else.
