I had acrylics put on at Pamper Me on 21st December as a little Christmas treat. I really wish I hadn’t bothered. The appointment ran over and it took the technician 2 hours to apply my acrylics and when they were done they looked awful. They were shaped and filed unevenly and were incredibly thick- the only word I can find to describe them were globs at the end of my fingers. I have no idea how she let me walk out of the salon looking like that, for the rest of the day I was embarrassed and had to hide my hands until I got home, where I filed them to shape myself in an attempt to salvage them (which still didn’t really work). Had it not been so close to Christmas and I hadn’t been so strapped for time, I would have had them soaked straight off.
