An OK massage, but no more than that. I felt the therapist had an extremely limited range of techniques which she just repeated over and over to fill the time. It was not a Thai massage, either: there were maybe two or three stretches in the entire massage, which was an hour long. I've had Thai massages all over the world, both traditional (no oil, loose pyjamas worn, performed on the floor) and non-traditional (using oil etc), and this was not recognisable as Thai in any substantial way. It was fine for what I wanted -- just to loosen up a little and de-stress -- but not what I'd call a professional or genuinely therapeutic experience. Also, the massage bed was topped with fabric padding; while that was comfortable, the tissue paper only covered part of it, so when you lie face-down your mouth is surrounded by fabric where other people's mouths have been. That felt like a huge hygiene issue for me, as I imagine that padding is not removed and laundered for each client.
Available at short notice, but no compromise on quality. Long-lasting pain relief. Will visit again. Also open quite late, unlike many local salons which close early - who are they even for? This place is good for after a long day at work.
I booked the treatment last minute, I got there and was a few minutes early, which was okay as they have a waiting room. The session started about 5 minutes late but the massage was absolutely amazing, definitely worth waiting for! I came out as relaxed as ever. They also helped me charge my phone as it was on 5% and I didn’t have my charger which was an absolute bonus! Overall I would definitely recommend.
Really affective treatment and I was grateful that you fit me in at the last minute (only 15 minutes notice after my other appointment nearby had cancelled)
