My masseuse was great, provided the right amount of pressure and focused on my problematic areas. She also gave me some tips on posture and exercises I can do at home to alleviate some of my back pain. Thank you!!
The therapist was very late, which was a bit confusing, but she did make up for the late start. The massage itself was ok; the balance between the different body parts was off and the therapist didn't seem very skilled, more like an amateur. She did the legs very well, but feet, arms, and hands weren't done well, not rushed but very short. Back was a good amount of time, but lots of stroking and more like covering someone in oil rather than actually massaging.
I wouldn't go back.
I really needed a good massage. I treated myself to an hour. I was greeted by zarina/xarina (spelling?). She was welcoming and professional.
The treatment room was in a hotel in a good, central location. It’s a nice, soothing, cosy treatment room.
The massage was great. Exactly what I needed. I never forget a good massage ( or a disappointing one). This one did the trick. I value a good massage therapist who is both skilled and considerate. Xarina was both.
I hope to visit again.
Opulence Spas are excellent - the venues are not particularly swish, but massages good. Had a different therapist to ones I’ve had before, used less traditional Thai methods, but was still very nice, including a lovely head and face massage at the end. :-)
