I visited Opatra Clinic in Borehamwood for a skin-tightening facial, and while there were some positives, the experience overall was ok. The facial itself was relaxing, and the girl who carried out the treatment, was lovely and very soothing. However, the treatment didn’t feel like a skin-tightening facial as advertised—it was much closer to a basic cleanse. Given that this is an Opatra clinic, I expected the use of their full range of products, not just the devices. It’s a shame that Opatra products weren’t incorporated into the treatment, as that’s a big part of the brand’s appeal. I purchased the treatment through Groupon, but even at a discounted rate, it’s hard to see how this facial is valued at £250. To add to that, there was an upsell during the appointment, asking if I wanted to upgrade the mask for an additional £10, which felt unnecessary given the already underwhelming experience. Overall, while the facial was pleasant and relaxing, it didn’t deliver on its promise of skin tightening and didn’t feel aligned with what you’d expect from an Opatra-branded clinic.
