Small and busy salon, which may leave you without a seat in a chair while your color is processing, but you can relax on the couch. They always keep your beverage (coffee, tea, water) filled!
Phil gave me a fantastic cut and dry. I usually straighten my hair because I can't handle my curls, but Phil did an amazing job of bringing out their beauty. I was going to my Christmas do and everyone kept telling me how amazing my hair looked (and that I looked years younger )! I will certainly be going back. Lovely staff and great value.
Booked my appointment for 4:45 so I could make it for after work and the salon call saying that they've double booked and I have to get there for 4. The salon is about 20 minutes walk from any of the nearest tube or bus stops so I had to take a taxi and even then I got lost. When I called the receptionist to find out where I was going, she was super unhelpful and ended up hanging up on me. When I finally found the salon, it was empty... So I have no idea how they 'double booked me'. My colourist Phil was lovely and the assistant Oliver was super helpful; taking my coat, asking what I wanted to drink and making conversation- shame the staff were let down by the receptionist. I already had an ombre that was slightly grown out and just asked for a natural touch up with some lighter tones. Safe to say, this did not happen. I left the salon as a 3/4 blonde, with the blonde starting from 5cm away from my roots. The colour wasn't even, I had bits of white, gold and orange and some parts were so harsh and not properly blended. Phil also used a toner on my hair which I wasn't told about and then I was charged for it at the end even though I hadn't asked. The only saving grace of the evening was the gorgeous blow dry. I've had to book another appointment at my usual salon to get my hair fixed as I honestly hate it so much- would not recommend for anything besides a blowdry.
