The first time I went for a cut and blow dry was great, however this second one was a disaster. I have ME/CFS, and a trip to the salon is a rare (and difficult) treat for me as it massively exacerbates my fatigue. I clearly and in detail explained what I wanted to the stylist (Tyler), who then proceeded to do HIS interpretation of what I wanted - and not what I said. Ended up with highlights coming out of the roots, a very 2000s look and not the subtle gradation of colour from middle to ends that we discussed. He didn’t even apologise. I’ve been offered a make-up session to fix it “for free” (never mind the £72.50 that I’ve already been charged for something that I did not want), however what they don’t realise is that it’s not just a question of time and money for me (which are obvs also valuable) - it’s energy, wellbeing and health, which I have very little of, and going back into the salon isn’t an easy thing for me to do. It was hard enough to come out once, let alone have to come back and do it all over again. Extremely disappointed and upset. The salon and staff are nice and friendly, but my stylist simply did not listen or pay enough attention, and in doing so ruined my hair and made me have to come back to the salon to get it fixed, which I don’t even know for sure will help, but it will for sure feel horrible to have to do because of my chronic fatigue. Unhappy to say the least.
My third time here since i discovered this salon for my haircuts. Good understanding of customer wants and needs and always a good advice from a stylist
The staff was welcoming, had to wait for 20mins to be seen. Mala was nice, attentive and understanding. Unfortunatey my haircut was average, I still had split ends afterwards.
