Loved my new haircut! The ambience of the place is also super relaxing

I asked for a side fringe to be cut back in, a few inches off the length and long layers. I then asked for my hair to be styled in loose waves. I walked out of the salon feeling great, my hair was silky soft and looked pretty. Unfortunately, I have since washed my hair and home and straightened it and this is where I have noticed the issues. Firstly, no layers were cut in at all. My hair is very thick and needs layers. So now that it has been straightened the ends are thick and bulky - as well as not adding layers it seems the ends were cut bluntly and not feathered at all. The second problem is that the left side at the front is actually noticeably longer than the right. So if I wear my hair straight it looks uneven. Having just paid £50 for a haircut (and I actually tipped her!) I’m going to have to get my hair cut again immediately which I’m really annoyed about. The salon was nice and I was happy with how my hair looked at the time which is why I haven’t given 1 star but I’m pretty unhappy.

I visited Alex at Onics and had a rough idea for a drastic change to my hairstyle. Alex was wonderful at interpreting my vision and guiding me through each step; she was super reassuring and professional throughout, I'm so glad she cut my hair! The salon was clean and air conditioned, the service was very polite and professional.
