This is a gorgeous salon with great staff. They really understood what I wanted. The only downside was that we started quite late because there are only two sinks available for hair washing, so leave plenty of time. Other than that it was a very nice experience.

One of the most careless and uninspiring hairdressing experiences I have ever had. The haircut was fine I suppose, but my hair is pretty undemanding and I only needed a length trim and fringe trim. There was no care taken over my experience there, no head massage while the conditioner soaked in - the stylist chatted with the receptionist about their previous night out instead. None of the usual getting to know you chat you expect from a hairdresser (although to be honest I didn't mind that, but it just showed how uninterested in me she was). I was offered a drink which was nice but really the only courtesy afforded me. When the stylist was blow drying my hair she pulled my hair so hard the entire time she made my chair swivel and didn't even stop when I noticeably flinched, I am not generally sensitive on my scalp but she hurt me when she combed my hair and blow dried it. Then when it came to pay she tried to charge me more for having extra long hair, which I contested and find a ridiculous way to price hair cuts, my hair is long but not extra long by most standards. I know this salon does not charge much comparatively especially for the location but it really was the epitome of no frills. It was a thoroughly unenjoyable experience and I won't be going back nor will I recommend it to anyone .
