I had a quick in and out blow dry. The staff were amazing and the final look was brilliant. Best value blowdry I've had in a salon. The atmosphere wasn't incredible, but considering it was a busy Soho salon on a hot day, I definitely was made to feel comfortable.

I had gone in with a pretty clear idea of what I had in mind, complete with photos of myself with said haircut and everything. The cut itself leaves a lot to be desired because it’s not exactly what I wanted. I was hoping for a slightly angled layered bob, length around the jaw but my bob isn’t angled in the right direction with the back being longer than the front. I had told the stylist that one side looked longer than the other giving a lopsided appearance to which she seemed annoyed and unconvinced. The layering was definitely not done properly as it looks quite blockish. When she had asked me about length I had somewhat marked out a length but later asked if it could be shorter to which she was very annoyed and put up a fuss. She was unnecessarily aggressive with the actual cut, constantly combing my hair against my ear and while I know my ears stick out a little it still hurt and I’m pretty sure she knew it did. When she was blowing out my hair she used a ridiculously hot blow dryer setting that she did not immediately turn down until I exclaimed Ow. While I understand that replicating a haircut from a picture is not as easy as it sounds, clients working with the hairdresser tends to be the norm and feedback should be accepted. In this case however, she didn’t take kindly to it. I’m not sure how she didn’t notice that one side was longer than the other before she blow dried my hair because it was pretty obvious to me. Granted, I purchased the appointment when a discount was applied so maybe that had a direct effect on my experience. That being said, even for that price point there was a lot to be desired. Also she never used whatever luxury conditioning treatment that was advertised, it was a really quick wash.
