It was alright. Haircut itself was good and the hairdresser was nice. I can see why people have given it bad reviews - it's small, I wasn't offered a drink (no one was from the looks of it) and the receptionist did look a little clueless. That said for £30 is great value for money and the cut itself was good, which is all I'd gone for.

This was my 4th or 5th visit to the salon and I've always been happy with the experience however disappointed on this occasion. My hairdresser left me for almost 20mins in the uncomfortable hair basin while consulting the client after me. when finally returned to my chair she left again for a further 5 or more minutes to continue their discussion with little apology or explanation. Subsequently my appointment took 90mins for a wash and cut, rather than expected 60mins & my cut wasn't as I'd requested and unfortunately I find it hard to critise, and nod & smiled that everything was fine. Sadly not sure if I'll go back.

The staff were all really friendly and it had a nice atmosphere! I enjoyed the hairwash and conditioning treatment but was a bit disappointed with my haircut. I was never asked if I was happy with the length/amount she cut off, and I felt it was very hurried. The blow-dry was nice enough but didn't last very long and my hair didn't feel as smooth as normally does.
